Overview

The Office of the Registrar plays a fundamental role within ACM, supporting its mission, academic programs, students, and faculty. It maintains the precision, availability, and confidentiality of students' academic records. It is also responsible for facilitating official interaction among students, faculty, and staff through the effective implementation and management of academic policies and practices.

Mission

The Office of the Registrar has the responsibility to maintain timely and accurate records of all students, while maintaining the privacy and security of those records. It is authorized to issue official transcripts and enrollment letters, prepare the awarding of degrees, and manage other record-keeping matters.

Primary Function

  • Creating and managing student records, maintaining their accuracy, authenticity, and security
  • Administering academic policies
  • Preparing course selection and offerings
  • Setting up student registration and monitoring student enrollment activities
  • Managing the end-of-term grading process
  • Managing the Banner course catalog
  • Issuing academic transcripts and graduation certificates
  • Performing degree audits
  • Scheduling courses and assigning classrooms and laboratories
  • Fulfilling requests for student information
